Kristin's scoops on Gossip girl, True Blood and the vampire diaries

Gossip Girl
Patricia in Boston: At first I was just sad about the Chuck-Blair breakup news, but now I am freaking the hell out. Is it true that the horrible thing Chuck does is sleep with Jenny Humphrey? I'll never watch Gossip Girl again if that's what happens!
Well, don't delete that Gossip Girl season pass from your TiVo just yet, because sources assure me that this particular rumor is totally false. So, while I can't tell you yet what bad thing Chuck does do, I can assure that you, no, Chuck does not sleep with Jenny. Whew.

Lauren in New York City: I'm so sad about Chuck and Blair breaking up on Gossip Girl! Anything new on that?
Ed Westwick himself says of Gossip Girl's upcoming storylines, "It all gets set on its side. Everything goes upside down. Things are going to get even more dramatic than they always are." And Gossip boss Josh Schwartz tweeted, "Trust. #ChuckandBlair." Believe the man. Josh is the one who made Chuck and Blair so awesome in the first place, and he wouldn't be breaking them up unless it was part of a greater plan, right?

Chloe in Grand Island, Neb.: I approve of the casting of Billy Baldwin (although John Slattery would have been ideal) as Serena's dad on Gossip Girl, but I now have to know before I get too excited. Is Daddy van der Woodsen completely evil, or does he have any redeeming qualities?
I'm told we'll see that William van der Woodsen does want to get back into Serena and Eric's life on Gossip Girl. That doesn't mean he's a pure good guy—his motives for seeing them could be totally dark side—but at least he's no longer totally dissing his own children.

Vampire Diaries

Maureen in Tacoma, Wash.: Any truth to the rumors that werewolves might be heading to The Vampire Diaries?
Well, werewolves are the new trend, you know, but The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley tells us this: "I know that in the books that happens, but it hasn't been confirmed—it's been insinuated." But if Paul has his say—which we're guessing he will—he's totally on board. "It'd be fantastic. And I played a wolf on a series called Wolf Lake, which was a very short-lived show on CBS, so I love the idea of it because I've done it."

Tamra in Washington, D.C.: Any development in the Damon-Elena-Stefan triangle on Vampire Diaries?
Seriously, will those angsty three ever be happy? Not any time soon, and as Ian Somerhalder puts it, Elena may start leaning towards a different Salvatore brother. "Damon's very truthful when he speaks. Even when he's a deviant bastard, he's still telling the truth," he explains. "Elena feels that she's been lied to by Stefan. [But] in Stefan's defense, he essentially had to lie to her to protect her."

True Blood
Kelly in New Madrid, Mo.: I can't wait for more True Blood! What can we expect from season three this summer?
Oh, where to begin? Let's start with the gorgeous Ryan Kwanten, who has some major storylines this season. First among those storylines, Ryan says, is that "Jason finally falls in what he thinks is love. It's a pretty rare, unknown concept for him." Awww...Plus, Ryan tells us of Jason's future, "The fact that my character is dealing with the fact that he really has killed someone now is pretty crazy, and there's a whole host of new characters. There's the addition of werewolves coming in. We're using real wolves. It's crazy. I've yet to work with them. I'll work with them later on in the season, but I'm looking forward to it."

Alicia in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif.: I need True Blood scoop!
True Blood's Rutina Wesley tells us of Tara in season three, "She's going to have to grieve a lot to get over [Eggs]. And then it's going to be crazy madness." As for Tara's ex-lovah Sam, Nelsan Ellis teases, "Sam moves away from Sookie and Bon Temps, and he clings to the family that he's now starting to get to know. He finds his mother, father and brother." Come back home, Sam!

Azul in Orlando: Gimme some Eric Northman scoop! I miss my favorite Scandanavian True Blood vampire.

Did you see Nelsan's dish that he's going to be "Eric's henchman" this year? Nelsan also reassures us that we'll be getting a lot of Eric and Pam tag-team action this year as well: "Eric will definitely be in every episode, and Pam is definitely in the first four."

kristin spoilers about Gossip girl andTrue Blood

Monty in New Mexico: What's next on Gossip Girl?
I'm told that after tonight's threeway, everything will be very messy for Dan, Olivia and Vanessa. "Things are not well," says my source, and the threesome will have repercussions for all relationships involved, and we'll see it all play out next week via flashbacks of the dirty deeds that were done dirt cheap. Also next week, a fourth wheel comes into the mix: Lady Gaga! No, she's not actually hitting the sack for an L-O-V-D foursome (can you imagine?), but her music is the catalyst through which Dan, Olivia and Vanessa have to stay connected and work together even more closely for the time being (thanks to an assignment given to Mr. Humpey...or, make that Humphrey, sorry).

Oh, and for all of you who are sooo tired of hearing about the ménage à trois—can we all just have a cigarette and get cab fare already and be on our merry way?—I have this news to share: A main Gossip Girl character is going to get in a serious accident. One that will send her to the hospital. And that someone is Serena (Blake Lively)

Jessica in Ft. Worth, Texas: Got any new news on True Blood?
We're going to be meeting Bill's (Stephen Moyer) first wife! True Blood producers are now casting for Caroline Compton, who is surprised to discover her man was not killed in the Civil War, as she had thought.

Latest from Kristin for True Blood and Fringe

Melina in Washington, D.C.: Thanks for the True Blood news last week! Do you have anything else about Eric?
Your wish is my command. Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) fans will be happy to hear that even though Godric (Allan Hyde) is dead, the writers are considering exploring his 1,000-year history with Eric through flashbacks. Whoo-hoo!

Jensen in Wichita, Kan.: OK, so who won Vampire Wars?
It was a 5-0 Buffy blowout! True Blood came in second, followed by newbie series The Vampire Diaries in a distant third. When Twilight's Edward and Bella were thrown in the mix, they came in second after Buffy and Angel, but well ahead of Sookie, Bill, Stefan and Elena. Good work, Team Slayer!

Penelope in New London, Conn.: Do you have any Fringe news?
This Thursday's ep is about Broyles (Lance Reddick's character), and when the gang revisits a shadow killer case from four years ago, we learn that he chose Fringe Division over his marriage four years ago, and has lived to regret it.

Damon Salvatore and Eric Northman make the list of sexiest vampires !

wow and my love for Damon can't grown anymore ? of course it can !! what a good news to see him and Eric from TB on this list joining amazing vampires as Spike (another of my man ^^), Edward Cullen (aww !), Dracula himself !

Damon (Ian Somerhalder), The Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries is one of the CW’s bigger hits since the netlet launched a few years ago. Right after the pilot aired, vamp fans started buzzing over Ian Somerhalder’s sizzling turn as bad-boy vamp Damon. Expect lines to be drawn between the Damon fans and fans of Stefan (Damon’s markedly less devious brother, played by Paul Wesley) as the series goes on.

Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), True Blood

Sure, Stephen Moyer may have the girl on and off screen, but True Blood’s got another sizzling guy waiting in the wings—Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric Northman, one of the show’s vampire bosses. And while we don’t foresee Anna Paquin running off with Skarsgard anytime soon, onscreen, Bill should watch his back, because Season 2 has shown some serious Sookie-Eric chemistry, which would follow the novels from which the series is based.

True Blood Season 3 Spoilers

Alan Ball revealed some Season 3 spoilers in an interview for Tv Guide.

Theme of Season 3: "It seems to be that it's about really embracing one's identity," Ball tells us. "Season 2 was more about how religions can make people do things that maybe they wouldn't do otherwise; it gives them the freedom to do things. This season is a lot about what it means to be who you are, or what you are."

Sookie's background: "Sookie still doesn't know exactly what she is. She will get closer to figuring out why she has these random powers that show up when they do," says Ball. (Spoiler alert: In the books, Sookie discovers she has fairy blood running in her.) "She is definitely part of a different race," adds Ball. "In terms of fairies, like perky fairies with wings, like Tinkerbell, no, they're not like that. If it is fairies, they're fierce. They're not pretty, soft, glamorous, gossamery things. They're really, really, really powerful and primal creatures."

Sookie and Eric: Sookie's been seeing visions of her and Eric getting — ahem — friendly. Will their romance actually progress, not just in her head? "I can definitely tell you [we'll see that] in the show. I don't know if it will necessarily be in Season 3. Of course they're going to come together, it's fated. It's not something that's going to happen right off the bat."

Sam's real family: "There's some new shape-shifters who may be Sam's biological family," teases Ball. Adds Trammell, "As I understand it, I'm going to be trying to find my biological family, who put me up for adoption or abandoned me. I have a feeling they're going to be very creepy, sketchy, weird, shape-shiftery weirdos. They're going to be bad news."

Sam's love life: "Can he ever trust a woman again? I don't know if he can, so he may have to just turn into an animal, stay an animal and seek love that way," jokes Trammell. "I hope he does, in all seriousness, but it could take a season or two for him to build up that confidence again."

Who's coming back? "The Queen is coming back," Ball reveals. "Godric is coming back for an appearance, a flashback. There's some new vampires in town, there are some werewolves. We do have a lot of werewolves coming in, male and female, but we haven't started casting for the show yet."
